After graduating magna cum laude from Emory University's business school, Leslie Julich began her career as an HR Specialist focused on recruitment at the Empire Insurance Company, followed by managerial human resources positions at Price Waterhouse Coopers, and Doubleday Book Clubs.
Cortney Aranoff, Principal of Talent Mine Inc., has over 20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. She began her career in a Generalist capacity, then specialized in Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition.
The Underfashion Club presented "Real Steps Towards Sustainability in the Intimates Industry." Moderated by Kimmay Caldwell from Hurray Media, LLC, the panel consisted of Tricia Carey, Lenzing; Kristen Classi-Zummo, The NPD Group; Larissa King, Hanky Panky; and Kaneema Gumbs, Head of Design Harper Wilde, Inc. It's a riveting and surprising discussion on the current trends in sustainability and responsibility in the intimates industry.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the 62nd FEMMY celebration at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on February 4th, 2020! The FEMMY Awards Gala has been recognizing leadership in the Intimate Apparel industry since 1963 and is the primary fundraising vehicle that enables The Underfashion Club to fulfill its charitable mission of “education today for a better industry tomorrow.” Congratulations to this year's honorees and to the student design contest finalists from the Fashion Institute of Technology Student for creating beautiful garments that have us all excited for the future of intimates!
The 17th Annual Student Design Contest featured works by Fashion Institute of Technology students from the Fashion Design Program. The contest theme was "Modern Intimate Movement - Design for evolving lifestyles, technology and retail." Congratulations to the winners and thank you all for participating!

The Underfashion Club, Inc.is thrilled to announce that Nona Hendryx, famed singer songwriter, producer and founding member of R&B group LaBelle will host the 2020 FEMMY Awards at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on Tuesday, February 4th, 2020! Nona Hendryx is well known for her socially conscious songs, activism and devoted work in support of the education of young women of color. read more
