Cortney Aranoff, Principal of Talent Mine Inc., has over 20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. She began her career in a Generalist capacity, then specialized in Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition. After 10 successful years in her field spent between Toronto and New York City, she decided to accept a challenge to become a VP, Operations with an Intimate Apparel wholesaler and manufacturer, an area where most of her experience originated. This provided a broader scale opportunity to utilize her People & Culture talents, while becoming more involved on the operational side of the business. After two years, Cortney was appointed to the Board of Directors with this Public company and promoted to Vice President; and was able to grow the business over 200% with her dedicated team. After 6 years of running the intimate apparel business, Cortney made the decision to focus on her young family and go back to Talent Acquisition which provided more flexibility and less time traveling.
She launched Talent Mine Inc., a boutique Recruitment and HR Consulting agency in 2017, and quickly re-engaged her networks and began to build a loyal client base. Through this process she was also able to identify best-in-class talent for her own team and continues to build the team as the business grows year over year.
