Full-figure and full busted lingerie is steadily growing in the intimate apparel industry, gaining more representation in fashion and trade shows every year. The average size is increasing in the US, so the demand for larger garments is naturally following the trend. The plus size women’s clothing market has reached $18 billion in 2014 (up by about 5%). According to various sources and depending who you talk to, the most common bra size these days is either a 34DD or a 36DD. That translates to a 38C or a 38D.

The Interfilière trade shows are an opportunity for leading international intimates, swimwear, and performance sourcing and fabrics platforms to share their latest materials and textiles to buyers in the intimate apparel industry. On September 21, 2015, 48 top international mills gathered in the Altman Building in New York City to present their latest developments at the Interfilière New York trade show, hosted by Eurovet.
It should be fairly obvious by now, that this site is about excellence in product. And for all intents and purposes, the focus is clearly on Lingerie. But once and awhile, a critical threshold emerges and the subject matter needs to change.
