Holiday Party Huge Success!

Tuesday, December 10 was the annual Underfashion Club Holiday Party, held once again at the gorgeous National Arts Club located on Gramercy Park South in NYC.  It was a festive and fun evening anchored by a delicious buffet and open bar.  The event is a yearly “thank you” to our members, their friends and industry associates, as well as a way of giving back to the community. The 90+ attendees donated toys, stuffed animals and clothing to The New York Foundling for distribution to children in need (from infant to young teen.)

In addition, President Victor Vega recognized the four organizations receiving financial support for their charitable efforts: CITY MEALS ON WHEELS, ST. FRANCIS FRIENDS OF THE POOR, THE NEW YORK FOUNDLING, and the BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION.

A fun addition to the party was the “Where’s My Bra Contest” in which photos were posted of creative ways to present a bra. First place went to Amy Bittner who won a ticket to the Femmy Gala on February 4, 2014.

Second place went to Life member Roslyn Harte who plans to donate her prize (one year’s free membership,) to a new member.

Honorable mention went to Clelia Parisi.

This year’s raffle featured gift certificates from the SECOND AVENUE DELI (won by Carol Cusack,) and WOLFGANG’S RESTAURANT (won by Tina Wilson.) The party was a huge success and we were honored to welcome so many members and industry friends. Take a look:
