Inspirations
Sarah Roylance
I was borned in Washington but raised in Utah. I did grade school there and earned my AAS degree in fashion design at a community college. I was seven when I discovered hand sewing. It was something I came across on my own at school. I got my first sewing machine when I was fourteen. I was mostly self taught. My fashion education began in high school. Since I was a kid, I had a big dream to go to fashion school where I could earn my BFA, though I never thought it would be in NYC. My religion and culture really influence what I design. I’m also a hopeless romantic and that shapes my aesthetic. My brand motto is “Clothing for the most special moments with the most special person in your life.” For a while, I thought I wouldn’t get to live my dream of going to fashion school. But here I am. Now I plan to become a designer in the intimate apparel industry, with hopes of gaining experience in Europe, and eventually launch my own brand of lingerie.
