My choice to focus on intimate apparel came from what I most admired within fashion and design. Apart from often being the most beautiful garments ever created, intimate apparel garments are among some of the most interesting and ingenious items in costume history. The precision and engineering required by the craft is a challenge that as a designer I am very attracted to. I have a great deal of love and respect for the body, a respect which my time spent as a professional dancer and fitness instructor only helped to amplify. I would like my work in intimate apparel to somehow feel infused with this reverence, and I would like to inspire in others the delight that I have often felt looking at intimate apparel garments that are equal parts beauty and ingenuity.
