The Underfashion Club‘s 2023 FEMMY Awards took place on Tuesday, August 1st at Cipriani 42nd Street to honor excellence in the intimate apparel industry and expand efforts to support the future of intimate apparel business and design!
This event was hosted by Mindy Scheier, CEO and Founder of the Runway of Dreams Foundation and Gamut Management, both representative of Mindy’s dedication to empowering people with disabilities!
One of the highlights of the event was the 2023 Student Design Contest, themed “Modern Adaptive Marketable Design,” thoughtfully designed intimates and sleepwear for the physically disabled consumer. The designs were created by Fashion Institute of Technology seniors who received cash awards to fund their future careers as designers!
